Hellsrising is a group of real-life friends that originally made the website as a medium for us to share our various random exploits, including artwork, music, drama and gaming. After a while, the community expressed such a profound interest in WAR that we’ve extended a personal branch from it.

Our mindset is simple: Play the game for fun. I’d call us “moderate” or half way between casual and hardcore, as there is no obligation for you to play, but we do organize frequent events to try and give a coordinated push in a certain battlefront. We have plans for numerous other events as well – dungeons, going out of our way to do personal guild achievements for our Standards, etc.

So, that being said, in order for us to really include someone in our guild, we want to get to know you. When you’re applying, as detailed below, make sure you include personal details.

Goals

To be a respected, well known guild amongst the WAR community that brings an element of humor. But most of all, to be known that we're here for fun.

Expectations

We expect you to enjoy the game; to help out fellow members. We expect you to like PvP, given that it's the focus of WAR. You should be able to build and maintain relationships with your fellow guildmates. You should get to know us, get to laugh with us. You should have "online etiquette" (things like ninja-looting is NOT something we want to be known for). We want you work with us, as a team. And most of all, we want you to be selfless and mature. Remember that even if another member gets that item you wanted, you may not benefit, but the guild does.

Membership Rules

-We'll recruit anyone of any class, we do not discriminate based on career. We want the person behind the keyboard. It doesn't matter if you have a statue in the Capital city, if you're socially dysfunctional we won't have you. It's for this reason that we have a probationary period. During this time, you must impress us with your personality.

I must stress this. YOU have to impress us, not your avatar.

-To keep our roster clean of inactive characters, any character that's inactive for 2 months will be removed from the guild. Should you ever return, you need only inform us, and we'll reinvite you without delay. Don't ever take it personally!

-Each person may have up to one "alt" in the guild, although that's the rank they'll stay at unless the alt becomes their main. No more than one alt is allowed in the guild (this is in order to keep the roster clean).

-Some people have multiple characters that are in multiple guilds. This is understandable, as some people play the game to experience different aspects of the community and make different friends. However, we view this as saying that you are not loyal to any "one" guild, and thus the highest rank you can achieve is Member status.

-Hacking and exploits are NOT tolerated. The resulting consequences usually lead to bans (temporary or permanent) and we can't have someone like that tarnishing our reputation. Should you ever be punished for such actions, it will result in a warning, or upon sufficient investigation, removal from the guild.

-Members should be "mature, rational or otherwise reasonable" meaning you need common sense. Don't be an ass, don't be over protective of the guild, don't be clingy or needy and don't take advantage of the guild. During guild success (i.e. we lay waste to a group of people), have integrity about it. Don't spit or puke on any corpses to rub it in.
